Video: Watch Danny Wilson and Alfredo Morelos Score to Beat Motherwell at Ibrox

Rangers managed to exact a slither of revenge on Motherwell this evening at Ibrox by winning 2-0 – courtesy of two tidy finishes from Alfredo Morelos and Danny Wilson.

There’s a bit of bad blood stored up between the teams following October’s Betfred Cup semi-final between the two teams, in which Fabio Cardoso suffered a broken nose and Well progressed to the final.

But the Gers managed to get one over the Steelmen tonight, albeit in a match which wasn’t particularly pretty watch, with midfielder Ryan Jack stretchered off after a nasty-looking tackle with Cedric Kirpre.

After a goalless first-half, Rangers were far more dominant in the second period and Wilson opened the scoring on the 56th minute, whipping the ball home on his 26th birthday:

And in the 76th minute, with the match evenly poised, Morelos continued his hot-streak by making it 2-0 and sealing all three points and keep Graeme Murty’s side in touch with second place:
