Yannick Bolasie is Getting Grief for Accidentally Showing Off Steven Gerrard’s Book

Yannick Bolasie has had a nightmare on social media this afternoon, as the Everton winger unknowingly showed the world that he’s got ex-Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard‘s autobiography.

Bolasie ruptured his cruciate ligament against Manchester United last December and stepped up his comeback with a game for Everton’s U23s on Monday.

And with Sam Allardyce confirming Bolasie could feature against Swansea on Monday night, the 28-year-old was keen to show he’s ready to return – by posting a picture of himself wearing his boots indoors.

Needless to say, Twitter was quick to notice that Bolasie appears to be a big fan of his rival’s former skipper:

Does this need explaining, Everton fans?

Despite the club’s poor start to the season under both Ronald Koeman and David Unsworth, Allardyce appears to have had a big impact at Goodison Park since his arrival, with Everton now sitting comfortably in mid-table.
