Arsenal Fans Slaughtering ‘Finished’ Petr Cech Following Defeat to Bournemouth

Arsenal were beaten for the first time ever by Bournemouth this afternoon – and the club’s supporters seem to be holding goalkeeper Petr Cech largely responsible for the capitulation at the Vitality Stadium.

After an even first-half, everything seemed to be going to plan for Arsene Wenger’s men after right-back Hector Bellerin fired his side ahead on 52 minutes.

The side from North London then went on to spurn several pretty good chances to double their advantage, before the home side came roaring back into the match.

Callum Wilson made it 1-1 after beating Cech to a cross in the 70th minute, before former Liverpool winger Jordan Ibe scored the winner past the former Chelsea stopper on 74 minutes.
The Arsenal defence was pretty shambolic generally on both occasions – but it seems to be Petr Cech taking most of the blame on social media:

What do you think of Cech’s role in both goals? Should he have done a lot better, or is everybody over-reacting?
