Bruno Alves in Moon Boot Shows ‘S****bag’ Criticisms Were Unfair

Bruno Alves wearing a moon boot shows the ‘s****bag’ criticisms thrown his way were unfair.

The Portuguese defender limped out of Rangers’ 0-0 draw with Celtic on Saturday with an injury to his left leg.

But, with his regular injury issues this season, that didn’t go down well with some fans who believed he was too quick to say he couldn’t continue.

This is just a sample of some of the reaction to Alves after he limped out of Saturday’s game:


Whether or not you believe Alves was too quick to head off, you can’t deny a picture showing him standing with a moon boot on his left leg:

Worryingly for Rangers and Portugal, it looks like a serious injury for the former Porto defender and that’s a setback for his club’s domestic goals and his country’s World Cup hopes.

Alves has made 18 appearances for Rangers so far this season and you’d be surprised if he made it over 30 with his injury record.
