Celtic Fans Are Taunting Rangers on Twitter After Signing Lewis Morgan

With Celtic confirming the signing of St Mirren winger Lewis Morgan, Hoops fans have started taunting their Old Firm rivals Rangers on Twitter.

Morgan started his career as a Rangers youth product, before signing terms with St Mirren in 2013.

However, after a string of impressive performances for Jack Ross’ Championship leaders, Brendan Rodgers fielded a strong interest in bringing the 21-year-old to Celtic Park.

And this afternoon, Celtic’s official website confirmed they have signed the youngster on a four-year contract, although he will spend the rest of the season at the promotion-chasing Buddies.

With images of Morgan wearing a Gers top back in the day doing the rounds on social media, Celtic fans were quick to tease their Glasgow rivals over a player who has switched allegiances to the Scottish champions:

Time will tell as to whether Morgan can make an impact on a seemingly midfield-heavy Celtic squad next season.

In the meantime, it appears the Parkhead faithful are just pleased to try and rub it in to their cross-city rivals.
