Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli was in action for the North London club this afternoon against Southampton but it didn’t go at all as he would’ve hoped, with the club’s supporters absolutely hammering his performance.
The England international has become a mainstay in Mauricio Pochettino’s side over the last two-and-a-half seasons but his overall form has been called into question on several occasions throughout this campaign, with today perhaps being the nadir.
Pochettino’s side lost more ground on the top-four after being held to a 1-1 draw, and with Spurs looking for some inspiration during a frustrating second-half, Alli was presented with several decent opportunities in several promising positions but he spurned them all – much to the dismay of supporters.
