Liam Henderson ended his Celtic career today as he sealed a permanent move to Italian side Bari.
Henderson made his first-team debut just over four years ago as he came on as a substitiute during a 5-0 win against Motherwell.
And the youngster scored his first Celtic goal as the Hoops sealed the Premiership title in 2014 with a 5-1 win against Partick Thistle.
But first-team opportunities at Parkhead were far and few between for the midfielder and he ventured where not many young Scottish players have as he joined Norwegian side Rosenborg on loan.
The 21-year-old impressed during his stint in Scandinavia where he won a league title and Norwegian Football Cup.
However, upon returning to Scotland, Henderson was sent out on loan to Hibs where he wrote his name into the history books.
Henderson’s injury-time corner was met by the head of David Gray as the Easter Road side won their first Scottish Cup in 114 years.
Now former teammate John McGinn has wished the midfielder well on his move to Italy with a hilarious photoshopped image of footballing legend Andrea Pirlo.
McGinn will put his part-time role as a comedian to the side this weekend though, as Neil Lennon’s side face rivals Hearts in the Scottish Cup.
