Jamie Carragher Absolutely Savages Phil Neville After Visiting Liverpool Training

Jamie Carragher has been visiting Liverpool‘s training ground this afternoon to meet new signing Virgil van Dijk – but he still found time to ruthlessly hammer Phil Neville on Instagram too.

As a legendary Liverpool centre-back, Carragher was at the Melwood training complex to interview the big Dutch defender ahead of his Premier League debut for the Reds against Manchester City this weekend.

As he showed off his snap with the giant 25-year-old, ex-Manchester United and Everton man Neville tried to take a cheeky dig at Carragher’s allegiances by referring to the time he visited the Toffees training ground last season – but it turned out Carra was in no mood for taking prisoners at all:

We all know Carragher and Phil’s brother Gary enjoy a bit of banter on Monday Night Football every so often, but that response is absolutely brutal!

Still, we’d be lying through our teeth if we didn’t admit it made us laugh. Well played, Jamie. Well played.
