Jamie Vardy to Chelsea? His Wife Tells ‘Agent’ Not to Involve Her in Story Behind Move

Could Jamie Vardy be on his way to Chelsea? If he is, his wife Rebekah definitely doesn’t want involved in the story.

It seems clear that the Stamford Bridge club want to sign another backup for Alvaro Morata in the January transfer window and an English option is on the shortlist.

Andy Carroll has been mentioned regularly, while Peter Crouch emerged as a shock option last night.

But maybe Vardy is someone else that Chelsea are looking to sign? That is according to John Harriott, a self-proclaimed football agent, who is saying the English Premier League champions have bid £30million for him.

Harriott also claims that his wife Rebekah – who appeared on I’m A Celebrity.. last year – is keen on the move:

But Vardy’s wife had something to say about it:

Harriott continued with the story though:

Rebekah then responded to say that he was entitled to his opinion, but that she didn’t want to be involved in it:

She’s referencing the intense speculation involving an Arsenal move for Vardy back in 2016 following Leicester’s shock English Premier League win.

Vardy’s wife took a lot of stick over fans thinking she wanted her husband to move – so you can understand why she’s keen to avoid a situation like that happening again.

Thankfully, she got the apology she wanted:

But is there anything to the Vardy to Chelsea story? This might be one to watch over the coming weeks for the Blues.
