Kris Commons Taking Pelters From Celtic Fans After His Moussa Dembele Criticism

Kris Commons is taking pelters from Celtic after he accused Moussa Dembele of showing a lack of respect following the weekend’s game.

The Sky Sports pundit wrote a column for today in which he criticised the French striker for going straight down the tunnel after being substituted in the second half of the 0-0 draw between Celtic and Rangers at the weekend.

Dembele didn’t look happy as he was substituted for Leigh Griffiths and he was next seen on the pitch wearing his tracksuit.

And that didn’t sit well with Commons, who concentrated on it in his post-match column.

Commons said: “I infamously had my own dugout incident in 2015 after being substituted against Molde in a Europa League game. I regret it to this day and made a public apology for the disrespect I showed to the management team.

“But on Saturday, Dembele was disrespecting his team-mates.”

Celtic fans have jumped to Dembele’s defence, though, and instead accused Commons of double standards considering some of the incidents which marred his otherwise successful spell at the club:

Celtic fans – were you disappointed to see Dembele go straight up the tunnel after being substituted?
