Liverpool Fans Call on Club to Sign Jan Oblak After the Latest Goalkeeping Howler

Liverpool fans looked on in horror as they fell victim to another goalkeeping howler this afternoon – and a lot of the club’s supporters seem to have an idea who’d be the perfect No.1.

To the surprise of many, Lorius Karius was chosen ahead of Simon Mignolet for the visit of Manchester City today, and it wasn’t long before the unconvincing German was in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons once again.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has fired Liverpool in-front brilliantly at the Kop End after jut nine minutes, but Leroy Sane levelled things up before half-time by somehow managing to catch Karius out at his near post.

It was a firm and precise effort – but surely an elite goalkeeper should be saving this?

A mere glance at social media shows that Reds supporters have seen enough of Karius and Mignolet, and they’re desperate for Jurgen Klopp to break the bank for Atletico Madrid’s Jan Oblak.

The Slovakian is rumoured to have a massive buy-out clause – but that isn’t putting off this lot:

Pretty emphatic, eh?

Would Oblak solve a lot of Liverpool’s problems?
