Mc25 #3 – Scott Sinclair

Mc25 #3 – Scott Sinclair

Sinclair may be finding himself in the spotlight at the moment for LOSING form.

But the jet-heeled winger still enjoyed a fantastic 2017, winning a domestic treble with the Hoops as well as a slew of Player of the Year Awards along the way.

Of late, some supporters might reckon Sinclair hasn’t lived up to the ridiculously high standards he set for himself in the 2016/17 campaign but he’s still managed to bag 15 goals this season, bringing him to a whopping overall tally of 28 for the whole of 2017.

Now, 28 goals for any winger in a calendar year is pretty special, and when you consider the magnitude of games he’s scored in, there’s no doubt Sinclair deserves his spot in our top three.

What They Said

“Set the bar high for himself with last season’s return of 25 goals and a shedload of assists. But he’s Celtic’s top scorer in this campaign and likely to have more spring in his step after the winter break.”

Rob Maclean, BBC and BT Sport presenter.
