Javier Hernandez has reportedly been made available by West Ham this month – and there’s quite a lot of Manchester United fans who seem pretty willing to take the Mexican back.
The striker has endured a miserable time with the Hammers this season, having scored just four goals in 21 appearances in all competitions this season.
According to Sky Sports, Hernandez would be a player the West Ham hierarchy would be willing to part with if they can find a willing buyer, and the player’s body language in matches recently suggest he’s hardly having the time of his life in East London either.
But having been a key player under Sir Alex Ferguson, there’s plenty of United supporters who are urging Jose Mourinho to make a move to re-sign the 29-year-old:
i would honestly take Hernandez back at United

West Ham ready to let Hernandez go. Bring him back to United. With Zlatan going/injured he's the perfect back up forward. For ten million it's a no brainer #MUFC

Ngl, I'd have Chicharito back at United as a budget signing, he's an off the bench game winner.@FullTimeDEVILS

If United managed to get Dendoncker, Lucas Moura and Chicharito during this window, would it be that bad? Wait until the summer for the bigger names, improve the team's depth in january.

@GNev2 Hernandez for sald. Surely he would be a good choice for United? Cheap and if hes playing the right position he will score goals.

He might’ve had a pretty poor campaign thus far, but would a deadly finisher like Hernandez still be able to be a useful player for an elite club like United?
What do you think?
