Some Spurs Fans Reckon Davinson Sánchez is Best Young Defender in World Football

Spurs supporters have been absolutely raving about Davinson Sánchez tonight – and some reckon they might even have the best young centre-back in world football.

The 21-year-old Colombian has been gradually introduced to the Tottenham starting XI throughout the season by Mauricio Pochettino, but with Toby Alderweireld continuing to struggle with injury, Sanchez has been handed an early opportunity to prove his worth.

A £40 million signing from Ajax last summer, it’s probably fair to say that not a lot of Tottenham followers would’ve been familiar with Sanchez or his cannon of work up to this point in his short career.

However, he’s done nothing but impress pretty much ever since he arrived in the capital, and watching him stroll through tonight’s first-half against Swansea City, some supporters could barely contain themselves on social media:

What do you think of Sanchez and his performances since he’s joined Tottenham? Is he a future legend?
