Ally McCoist told a funny story about Gazza and Pac-Man waking him up at 5.30am while on an away trip with Rangers.
The Ibrox legend appeared on talkSPORT’s Sports Breakfast show with Alan Brazil this morning and, as usual, had some good stories to tell about his career.
This one featured Gascoigne at his mad best, interrupting a pre-match sleep for McCoist and roommate Ian Durrant before a game away at Aberdeen.
Apparently Gazza had asked the hotel reception to give him the spare key to their room so he could sneak in and play Pac-Man on their television. Apparently he needed the company and that’s why he wasn’t playing in his own room:

Playing alongside Gazza during his career sounds like quite the experience.
He spent three years at Ibrox from 1995, making 104 appearances for the club and winning four major trophies, including back-to-back Premier League titles during the nine-in-a-row era.
