Video: Back With a Bang? Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele Roasts Jordi Alba in Training

Ousmane Dembele showed no mercy when it came to taking on Barcelona team-mate Jordi Alba in training this week, as he humiliated the defender with a neat piece of skill.

Dembele moved to the Camp Nou from Borussia Dortmund in the summer, with Barcelona shelling out an initial £96.8m on the 20-year-old.

However, the France international has been hampered with injury problems since securing his move to the Spanish giants, having tore his hamstring during a La Liga match against Getafe in September.

Luckily for Barca boss Ernesto Valverde, Dembele made his long-awaited return to first-team action during last night’s draw with Celta Vigo in the Copa del Rey.

And from this evidence in training, Dembele could be ready to show the world exactly why Barcelona decided to make him the most expensive signing in the club’s history – with Alba his unsuspecting victim.

Barca currently hold a nine-point lead over second placed Atletico Madrid in the league table.

And if Dembele can get back to full fitness and start terrorising opposition defences like he does Alba in the clip above, they stand a great chance of wrapping up the title in the second half of the season.
