Piers Morgan Asked Donald Trump to Replace Arsene Wenger as Arsenal Manager

Piers Morgan‘s campaign against Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger took another turn this evening, as the Good Morning Britain host confirmed he’s asked President Donald Trump to replace the Frenchman.

Morgan is regularly seen on Twitter using #WengerOut when Arsenal lose either domestically or the European stage, with his hilarious outbursts becoming somewhat legendary on social media.

However, the former Britain’s Got Talent judge and News of the World editor stepped it up a gear when faced with Trump in a recent interview.

The pair have a long-standing friendship dating back to Morgan’s time as a US talk show host and he used those connections to organise an interview, which will be shown on ITV at 10pm this evening.

And while you’d expect the pair to talk politics, Morgan quickly turned the focus to Arsenal, posting this Tweet:

With the Gunners having recently sold Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United, surely the idea alone of Trump having any say in the club would be enough to tip Arsenal fans over the edge?
