The former Celtic striker is now plying his trade in Brazil after his short spell at the Hoops, joining Coritiba before moving on to Brazilian giants Corinthians.
He was named in their starting XI for the Florida Cup match against Rangers and would have been wanting to get on the scoresheet after managing just two in his first season with the club.
And that’s what Kazim-Richards managed to do, finishing nicely beyond Wes Foderingham for Corinthian’s opening goal:
That’s not the sort of finish Celtic fans were used to seeing from Kazim-Richards during his time at the club. He actually only managed two in 13 games before leaving Glasgow.
Corinthians already had the lead before that goal thanks to Rodriguinho’s finish from a back post cross.
Graeme Murty will certainly be expecting a much better second half from his men.
