Video: Harry Forrester Scores Wimbledon Equaliser Amid Talk of Rangers Return

Harry Forrester got on the scoresheet for AFC Wimbledon at the weekend amid talk that he could return to Rangers in January.

The English winger was sent down south on loan by Pedro Caixinha in the summer, with the Portuguese coach making it clear that he wasn’t in the plans at Ibrox.

But Caixinha is now out of the top team job and Graeme Murty is the man tasked with rebuilding the squad ahead of a big second half of the season.

And as well as bringing in new players over this month, he may also look to hand second chances to players currently away from the club on loan.

Forrester is one of those players and reports have said that there is at least an interest from him in prolonging his Rangers career.

So scoring goals while out on loan will definitely help his cause.

With Wimbledon losing 2-1 away at Gillingham, they needed someone to come up with some quality late on and it was Forrester who popped up with an equaliser:

Forrester has three goals in 24 appearances for Wimbledon since signing for them so may not have shown enough to deserve a recall to Rangers.

But Murty could decide to bring Forrester back to beef up his squad.
