Video: Hector Bellerin Fires Arsenal Ahead Against Bournemouth

Arsenal had to rely on an unlikely goalscorer against Bournemouth this afternoon, with the Gunners turning to Hector Bellerin for today’s opening strike.

The Spaniard has taken a bit of stick in recent weeks, most notably for turning up to an event at London Fashion Week wearing a pair of women’s pyjamas.

But he seems to have put his clothing faux pas behind him, for just now at least, after finding the back of the net today at the Vitality Stadium.

After an even first-half on the South Coast, Arsenal looked pretty insipid and meek in-front of goal, and it was difficult to see who’d be able to break down the stubborn Bournemouth defence.

But in the 52nd minute, Bellerin did the business – although, we’re not too sure if Asmir Begovic should’ve maybe done a bit better with this:

That’s actually the second successive Premier League match Bellerin has scored in after finding the net against Chelsea earlier this month too.

What do you think of the goal and the Spaniard’s all-round form?
