Video: Jamie Murphy Sets Up Alfredo Morelos For Stunning Second v Corinthians

Jamie Murphy set up Alfredo Morelos for a stunning second goal against Corinthians tonight.

The new Gers signing was brought on at half-time with his side 2-0 down after goals from Rodriguinho and Colin Kazim-Richards.

The first half was disappointing for Graeme Murty’s men despite plenty of possession.

But the second half was totally different, with Rangers dismantling Corinthians by scoring four goals – and Morelos was at the heart of it all.

He came on and scored Rangers’ opener before laying on Andy Halliday for the second.

Then he produced a brilliant left-footed finish from a Murphy cutback – with the former Brighton man showing exactly the kind of quality fans can expect from him in the second half of the season:

The ball back from Murphy is brilliant, but what about that Morelos finish? That was emphatic.

He’s blown hot and cold in the first half of the season and Murty will be expecting a lot more consistency from him so goals in this winter break will be welcome.
