Video: Lewis Morgan Scores Again For St Mirren Amid Celtic Transfer Talk

Lewis Morgan is coping just fine with speculation that Celtic are about to sign him.

The St Mirren winger has regularly been linked with a move to the Scottish champions over recent weeks – with a permanent move and an immediate loan back to Paisley being mentioned.

That would be a big move for Morgan and you could understand if he lost focus with all the media talk.

But he looks to be coping just fine after hitting three goals in his last two games since the speculation really started.

Morgan got a double in a hard-fought 2-0 win over Dundee United at the weekend and has followed with a strike in St Mirren’s derby game against Morton this afternoon:

That’s a big goal for St Mirren and shows again just how important Morgan is to their push for promotion.

If he does switch to Celtic, Jack Ross and the club’s supporters will have to hope Brendan Rodgers allows him to return on loan so he can continue inspiring them at the top of the table.

And for Dundee United, it would be a big dent in their promotion push given they’re five points behind the Buddies.
