The Scottish winger is now back in Graeme Murty’s squad while they train in Florida during the Premiership winter break.
Pedro Caixinha had deemed him surplus to requirements in the summer and sent him off to former club St Johnstone to give him the first team football he’d have been wanting.
And he got that, scoring five goals in 17 games before Murty took over from Caixinha and welcomed O’Halloran back into the fold.
Now that he’s back in the squad, O’Halloran sat down with Rangers TV to talk about his return – and he couldn’t hid his delight:
Now O’Halloran will be focusing on how he gets into the Rangers team in the second half of the season.
Despite signing for the Ibrox club from St Johnstone two years ago, he’s made just 37 appearances in that time and still has a lot to prove to the Gers supporters.
