The 26-year-old shot-stopper arrives at Easter Road on a six-month loan deal after struggling for game time at Dundee.
And while Bain looked to avoid the conversation as to whether he was frozen out at Dens Park by Neil McCann, the goalkeeper couldn’t evade the microscope when the Jambos were mentioned.
One of the journalists at Easter Road began his question by telling the ex-Alloa keeper that “it’s no secret that you were a Hearts supporter when you grew up”.
He then goes on to ask whether supporting Hearts came into Bain’s thinking when he chose to join Neil Lennon’s side in the January window.
To Bain’s credit, he does well with the situation, joking “is that not a secret?”:

Bain later suggest that as a footballer, it’s rare to support anyone other than yourself.
