Video: Ross Barkley Scores Stunning Volley in First Chelsea Training Session

Ross Barkley scored a stunning volley in his first Chelsea training session this week.

The English midfielder last week sealed a £15million move from Everton to the English Premier League champions, ending a difficult recent spell at Goodison Park.

He was frozen out by Ronald Koeman in the summer and appeared on the verge of an exit then, but remained at the club to recover from a hamstring injury before making his move.

Barkley is now a Chelsea player though and should be involved when Antonio Conte’s men take on Leicester in the league tomorrow afternoon.

And he looks to have made a good early impact on his new teammates with a strong showing in training this week.

In his first session, he scored a belting volley and was then impressive in a small game later on.

Chelsea’s TV cameras were on hand to catch footage from his first session and fans will be keen to see how their new man is getting on:

What a hit that was from Barkley.
