Russell Martin signing for Rangers appears imminent after he arrived in at Glasgow Airport this afternoon.
The Norwich defender has been granted permission to speak with the Ibrox club after the teams agreed a loan deal until the end of the season.
It comes just a day after Rangers tied up the loan deal for Jason Cummings – and Martin now looks set to become Graeme Murty’s fifth signing of the January transfer window after touching down at Glasgow Airport.
STV’s Raman Bhardwaj was on hand to capture footage of Martin arriving:

That will excite Rangers fans further given the quality Martin has shown during his career so far.
He’s been an ever-present for Norwich since signing for the club in 2009 and has also impressed Scotland fans with his consistent performances for the national team since getting his first cap in 2011.
Now Martin will hope to challenge Rangers’ defenders for a starting place in Murty’s team throughout the second half of the campaign before potentially making the move permanently in the summer.
