Wales will be hoping Ryan Giggs’ team talks have improved since his brief spell as Manchester United‘s caretaker manager.
The Welshman was confirmed as his country’s new manager on Monday, replacing Chris Coleman after he departed for Sunderland.
And that news was met with widespread delight given Giggs’ 64-cap career for the Welsh and his burgeoning reputation as a coach at the start of his career in the dugout.
That said, we’re sure everyone in Wales is hoping his team talks have improved since his brief stint in caretaker charge of the Old Trafford club.
After assisting David Moyes throughout his short time at United, Giggs was handed responsibility of the last four games of the 2013-14 season following the Scot’s sacking.
And it was in this spell that footage emerged of a Giggs team talk before the final game of United’s season.
It’s surprisingly uninspiring:
This is amazing. Giggs' final team meeting as Man United caretaker manager. Lol. pic.twitter.com/fbvlCywZDz

That’s actually hard to watch, isn’t it?
If Wales are to make it to the next European Championships and assure back-to-back appearances at the tournament, then they’re going to need a very different Giggs to get the best out of their players.
But we look forward to seeing him try.
