Video: Adrian Miraculously Saved This Deflected Shot From Christian Eriksen

West Ham held out for a 0-0 against Tottenham going into the half-time break, however, that scoreline is mostly thanks to the heroics of Hammers keeper Adrian.

The 31-year-old shot-stopper has managed to keep Spurs at bay at Wembley so far, with Mauricio Pochettino’s side desperate to put pressure on Liverpool in the race for the top four.

And while it was the linesman’s flag that disallowed Harry Kane‘s goal for offside after 16 minutes, there was no doubt it was Adrian who saved the day later in the half, after Christian Eriksen had an effort from long range.

The Danish international let a shot go after some neat build-up play with Dele Alli on the edge of West Ham’s box.

However, Eriksen’s shot took a wicked deflection and forced Adrian to adjust his position while the ball was in the air, before he managed to tip it over the crossbar.

David Moyes will need to make a change in the second half, whether it be tactical or personnel-based, if they are to escape with anything from this one.
