Video: West Ham’s James Collins Sings Liverpool’s Newest Song on Walkabout Before Game

The new Liverpool song sweeping football right now is so popular that rival players are singing it.

Reds fan Richy Sheehy, from Cork in Ireland, has enjoyed some viral success this week after posting a song he created to the tune of ‘Suger, Honey Honey’ online.

In his version, Sheehy celebrates Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino before ending the verse with a mention of Liverpool’s decision to sell Philippe Coutinho.

It’s so popular, he was invited on to Soccer AM this morning to sing it – and now he’s had his first famous face singing it after West Ham’s James Collins was filmed during a walkabout before his side’s game against Huddersfield this afternoon:

It’s so good even opposing players are singing.

Now we’ll wait until tomorrow to see if the tune gets an airing when Liverpool take on Manchester City at Anfield in the English Premier League.

We won’t hold our breath though.
