Arsenal Fans Really Don’t Want Brendan Rodgers to Replace Arsene Wenger

Brendan Rodgers has been linked with becoming the next Arsenal manager this summer – but the club’s supporters don’t seem to want the Celtic boss anywhere near the Emirates any time soon.

Current Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is starting to seriously feel the pressure after Sunday’s diabolical Carabao Cup final defeat at the hands of Manchester City, and the Telegraph are claiming his successors are already being weighed-up by the club’s hierarchy.

Apparently, Rodgers is on the shortlist for the gig along with Monaco’s Leonardo Jardim, Germany’s Joachim Lowe and Man City coach Mikel Arteta, with Wenger’s contract due to run out in the summer of 2019.

But if that expiry date was to be brought forward 12 months, and Rodgers was offered the job in North London, it seems as though he’d have a lot of fans to convince first:

Would Brendan Rodgers really be that bad a shout as Arsenal manager?

What do you think?
