Celtic fans aren’t happy with Jim White after his tweet about Brendan Rodgers and Arsenal.
The Sky Sports and talkSPORT radio presenter this morning tweeted about the Hoops manager and speculation linking him with a move to the Gunners if Arsene Wenger was to leave this summer.
Wenger appears under constant pressure in north London, but the disappointing 3-0 defeat to Manchester City in the Carabao Cup Final at the weekend has just added to that.
And that’s understandably led to talk about his potential exit, with Rodgers’ name being mentioned as a successor given his impressive time in charge of Celtic.
Still, Rodgers has a lot to achieve in Glasgow, but White’s tweet about the Northern Irishman ‘literally wasting his time’ by staying in Scotland suggests the Scottish presenter doesn’t think that’s very important.

As a Celtic fan I 100% agree Jim. Anyone who has a few successful seasons in any league outside the glorious English Premiership is basically living a lie if they want to stay in a place they are happy… I personally think if Rodgers stays he should be executed for time wasting.

Celtic are still in the hunt for a successive treble after picking up all three trophies in Rodgers’ first season at the club, but their exit from the Europa League at the hands of Zenit last week was disappointing and showed what they’re up against in Europe.
So would Arsenal appeal to Rodgers if they came calling this summer?
