Cruz Azul Fans Chant For Pedro Caixinha to be Sacked

Former Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha‘s reign as manager of Cruz Azul looks to be coming to an end after the club’s supporters chanted for him to be sacked this weekend.

The Portuguese coach was shown the door at Ibrox back in October after a disastrous seven-month tenure at the Glasgow giants, but was soon back in work in the Mexican Liga MX.

However, as we’ve told you previously, things haven’t been going to plan with Azul either, and the 1-1 draw at home to Puebla this weekend might’ve been the final straw.

According to the Daily Record, the Cruz Azul supporters repeatedly chanted ‘Fuera Caixinha’, which translates as ‘Caixinha out’, after the full-time whistle, with the result leaving the ambitious club with just one win from their last eight matches.

On top of that, Azul are now just four points off the bottom of the table, and it seems pretty difficult to see how Caixinha could possibly recover from this position.
