Dundee may have just completed one of the signings of the season, with the announcement that former QPR defender Steven Caulker has signed an 18-month contract with the club.
Caulker had been linked with Celtic last summer, with Brendan Rodgers refusing to rule out a move for the once-capped England international.
However, with the Hoops instead plucking Jack Hendry from Dens Park during the January window, Neil McCann clearly felt his squad could benefit from some experienced reinforcements.
And with Caulker being released by QPR toward the end of last year, Dundee jumped at the chance to sign the 26-year-old.
It appears the signing has went down particularly well on Twitter, with the club soon inundated with messages:

Caulker was expected to become one of England’s top defenders earlier in his career, however, his struggles with mental illness along with his addictions to gambling and drinking have curtailed his progress in recent years.
Here’s hoping he can get back to his very best in the Scottish Premiership!
