Liverpool Fans Are Once Again Raving About ‘Superb’ Andy Robertson

Liverpool supporters have once again been singing the praises of Scottish left-back Andy Robertson, after his lung-bursting display in tonight’s Champions League match against Porto.

Jurgen Klopp’s dynamic and jet-heeled side look to already have one foot in the competition’s quarter-finals after securing three away goals against the Portuguese giants, courtesy of a Sadio Mane double and a brilliant Mo Salah finish.

But whilst the front-three will take the headlines and glory, plenty of fans are highlighting the donkey work done by Robertson, as they’be become so accustomed to since the 23-year-old moved to Anfield last summer.

With Spanish full-back Alberto Moreno recovered from an injury, it looked like Robertson’s starting berth might be under threat, but his display tonight looks to have cemented his spot in the starting XI for another week or two at least:

Robertson was playing for Scottish League One side Queen’s Park less than five years ago but he appears to be a new hero to the Liverpool support.

How highly do you rate him?
