Paul Pogba Shares Disappointment at Being Out of Manchester United Squad

Paul Pogba has shared his disappointment at being left out of Manchester United‘s squad to play Huddersfield today.

The club confirmed via Twitter this afternoon that the Frenchman was not in their squad for the FA Cup tie due to illness.

And Pogba soon followed that up by sharing his disappointment, while indicating that he needs to get better before returning to action.

He tweeted:

That’ll be disappointing for Pogba, particularly after a week of speculation surrounding his happiness at the club.

Reports earlier this week said Pogba was frustrated with his role in Jose Mourinho’s team, but the manager emerged in his press conference days later to dismiss those reports as ‘lies’.

Today would have been a good opportunity for Pogba and Mourinho to show there are no rifts at the club, but this illness now means we’ll have to wait until midweek when United face Sevilla in the Champions League to see if Pogba gets his place back.
