Rab Douglas surely isn’t too old that some Celtic fans now don’t remember he played in goals for the club?
At least that’s what seems to have happened with the former Hoops goalkeeper tonight, as he shared that a random supporter in a bar in Spain asked him a question that most other fans of the club surely wouldn’t dream of asking.
Douglas is in Benidorm, Scruffy Murphy’s tonight to be exact, and told how this fan asked him if he’d ever experienced a European night at Celtic Park.
He obviously didn’t realise he was speaking to someone who spent five years as goalkeeper at the club and was actually the number one in the Hoops’ famous run to the UEFA Cup Final in 2003:
While your watching the game tonight and the Wee guy in Scruffy Murphys in Benidorm asks you if you have ever been to any European nights at Celtic Park….

That is a belter – and definitely deserves the amount of interaction it’s getting from the Celtic support on Twitter.
They’re in a happy mood tonight too as they produced a memorable European night to beat Zenit 1-0 in the first leg of their Europa League last-32 tie.
