Rangers Fans Have Crowned Today ‘#LaudrupDay’

Rangers fans have taken the opportunity to pay homage to one of their all-time greatest players today – by crowning this Thursday their very own #LaudrupDay.

This summer, it’ll be 20 years since Danish winger Brian Laudrup left Ibrox for a new challenge in the English Premier League with Chelsea, but his mesmeric performances continue to live on in the memories of the Gers supporters who watched him every week.

Given today is his 49th birthday, Rangers fans on social media have been taking the opportunity to take a stroll down memory lane and remember some of Laudrup’s greatest moments in the club’s iconic blue jersey.

And they’ve even created their own hashtag for the event too:

If you weren’t lucky enough to see Laudrup in the flesh then you really did miss out.

Unquestionably one of the greatest foreign talents to ever play the game in Scotland – and we can only hope we see players of a similar ability coming here in the future!
