Morelos has scored 15 goals during his debut season in Scottish football and has quickly earned a heroes status among the Rangers support.
However, the Colombian’s form has come at a price, with Chinese Super League side Beijing Renhe having submitted two bids for the striker during the January transfer window.
And it now appears, that despite Rangers rebuffing both of those offers, Beijing Renhe are determined to get their man.
Sky Sports News have confirmed today that another bid has been rejected by the Ibrox hierarchy… an offer sure would have exceeded the £8 million that was on the table last month.
While some Light Blues fans believe the club have made the right call by keeping hold of their top goalscorer, others can’t help but think the transfer fee could come in very handy during the summer:
Might be an unpopular opinion but I wouldn’t sell Morelos for £11million.

As for Alfredo Morelos we should only sell him if we get most of the money up front. A lot of players move to China & within 1 year they want to leave so add-on's in these type of deals tend not to work out.

Looks like Alfredo Morelos is edging closer to move to China. The chinese refusing to take no for an answer
Rangers set for £11m for the striker. Contracts not agreed yet but this one certainly looks like it may be happening or could
Nothing definite, One to watch certainly

At £11million, it's hard to see Morelos still being a Rangers player come March 1st. Although for £11million it means making Cummings and Murphy's deals permanent leaves us with c£9million to play with

Surely can’t turn down 10mil+ for Morelos. As much as we love the fella that’s too much profit for a half a season.

If he goes now we don’t have enough fire power up too. Cummings is a cult hero amongst the fans but i don’t think he will get the goals we need. Morelos should stay, win the cup, finish second + if gets a World Cup place we could be looking at £20m+ in the summer
— Petti WATP (@Petti_1972) February 16, 2018
I wouldn’t sell Morelos for anything less than 20mil you can see how happy he is we should keep him and develop him even further tell the Chinese to fuck off, then give him a new contract

Given recent events in our history I think it is all our roles to care about the financial aspects of our club. I like Morelos but nobody is bigger than the club. And it has always been this way. They all have their price.
— Colin Armstrong (@moonman1873) February 16, 2018
£11M could bankroll us for a real challenge. We will get 3rd even without Morelos. Title unlikely this year keeping him chase 2nd risk not seeing that kind of fee in the summer would be pointless 2nd & 3rd same Europa place prize and 1st is all the matters beyond that.

If the board accept a bid of 10 million or more I don't think anyone can criticize them, I want Morelos to stay as he is some talent but financially it's an amazing deal.
— Rangers Bantz (@RangersBanter17) February 16, 2018
It’s a difficult one. I would like to see Morelos stay until the end of the season, help us get as far up the league as possible, get his World Cup Call up then move to England. If he goes though you can’t fault the club or the player.?⚪️?
— David (@onlyshowintown) February 16, 2018
I like Morelos and think he's a great prospect but if we got anything between £9-11m for him, and I would hope a wee sell on clause, that would be Murphy, Cummings, Martin and a good few million to spend on 1 or 2 players to take us to the next level.

If Rangers were to accept a bid for Morelos, would Graeme Murty have enough attacking options available to challenge in the Scottish Cup and secure second spot in the Scottish Premiership?
