Celtic narrowly sealed their place in the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup with a 3-2 victory over the Jags at Parkhead, with Forrest providing an outstanding man-of-the-match performance.
In fact, it took Forrest just ten minutes to bag a brace, with Partick all over the shop as they tried to contain the in-form Scotland international.
Forrest would later complete his hat-trick and despite some scandalous defending from Jozo Simunovic, Celtic held on for the victory.
And skipper Brown was quick to praise Forrest for his recent performances, as he took to Instagram and described the 26-year-old as “unplayable” this season:
Brendan Rodgers spoke with BBC Scotland shortly after the final whistle and admitted Celtic will need to play “much better” than they did today if they are to retain the Scottish Cup.
However, attention now turns to Thursday night’s mouth-watering Europa League tie with Zenit St Petersburg.
