The Hoops take on the Russian cracks in the Europa League last-32 first-leg this evening under the floodlights in Glasgow and most would’ve expected on-loan Chelsea midfielder Musonda to be in the starting XI.

However, there were a few raised eyebrows when Celtic’s team was announced, with both Musonda and Scott Sinclair left kicking their heels on the bench, and Callum McGregor and Eboue Kouassi recalled.
Speaking as a pundit for BT Sport this evening, Sutton suggested the move will leave 21-year-old Musonda wondering just how much faith his manager has in him.
He said: “I’m surprised – Charly Musonda, this is why he was brought to Celtic, I thought.
“Within the space of two games, Brendan Rodgers is basically saying ‘I don’t trust you!'”
Of course, the tie is played over two legs, and Rodgers might simply be starting with a more cautious side – but is Sutton right with his comments?
What do you think?
