Video: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain Had a Nightmare During Liverpool’s Dog Challenge

The Liverpool players celebrated Chinese New Year and the Year of the Dog with a special challenge this week… but Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain didn’t exactly have the best time.

The Ox, along with Alberto Moreno, Danny Ings and Loris Karius took part in the challenge, as each player took on a dog obstacle course with man’s best friend.

Moreno was crowned the winner after the thoroughly entertaining competition, however, it was Oxlade-Chamberlain’s struggles that really came to the fore.

First off, the former Arsenal midfielder was greeted with a loud bark by his K9 companion… not the best start.

Then, the Ox fails to score past a dog keeping goal… not really surprising considering he’s only scored four times this season.

And finally, his dog refuses to obey his instructions during the obstacle course:

Better stick to the day job, eh Alex!

Despite his dog-related struggles, Chamberlain was part of the Liverpool squad that thumped Porto 5-0 on Wednesday night… every cloud!
