Celtic’s defence provided more questions than answers during today’s victory over Partick Thistle, leaving YouTuber Ryan118 concerned for Thursday’s Europa League tie with Zenit St Petersburg.

James Forrest scored an impressive hat-trick against the Jags to secure his team’s place in the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup, however, Celtic conceded two sloppy goals for the match to end 3-2.

Jozo Simunovic in particular looked nervous after his error allowed Kris Doolan to score Partick’s first after 20 minutes.

And while Zenit trail leaders Lokomotiv Moscow by eight points in the Russian Premier League, Ryan118 is worried about the damage Roberto Mancini’s side could inflict on a Celtic defence which appears to be lacking confidence.

The performances of Simunovic, Mikael Lustig and Kristoffer Ajer all come under the microscope in the video, while the club’s transfer policy for recruiting defenders is also called into question:

Does Celtic’s defence need a radical overhaul this summer?
