The Premier League champions signed Giroud from Arsenal during the January transfer window, shortly after the Gunners had announced the arrival of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
And the Giroud’s transfer seemed to suit all parties, with the Frenchman set to get more game time, Arsenal receiving around £20 million and Chelsea getting a top-quality player.
However, it looks like the deal may have created a monster – inspired by Maroon 5.
Yes, one Chelsea fan has altered the lyrics to the pop group’s song ‘Sugar’, to pay tribute to the 31-year-old front-man.
And it’s absolutely terrible:
At least he manages to somewhat stay in tune unlike every other fan chant.

Chelsea were soundly beaten 4-1 by Watford in the Premier League on Monday night, meaning Antonio Conte’s side have lost three of their previous four games.
Who knows though, maybe when Giroud here’s his new “song”, he’ll start scoring goals and the club will solidify a Champions League spot…
