Florian Kamberi scored a beautiful goal just hours after signing for Hibs in a transfer deadline day move.
The Swiss striker was paraded as one of Neil Lennon’s latest signings earlier today, joining from Grasshopper on a loan deal until the end of the season.
And he made an immediate impact at Easter Road, named in their team for the visit of Motherwell before firing home in the 28th minute to open the scoring.
Based on the finish, he looks like he could be a handy signing for the Hibees:
Hibs tonight shipped out Simon Murray on loan, hours after confirming that Anthony Stokes had been released, so the arrival of a goalscoring striker was needed – and Lennon and the Hibs fans will hope Kamberi is that man.
Brandon Barker added a goal shortly after Kamberi’s goal, giving the Easter Road outfit enough of a lead to render Curtis Main’s 78th-minute goal meaningless.
