Jurgen Klopp didn’t forget about Lionel Messi when asked if Mohamed Salah has the best left foot in football.
The Liverpool manager faced the media today ahead of his side’s clash with West Ham in the English Premier League tomorrow.
And it was no surprise that he faced questions about Salah once more, considering the Egyptian’s ridiculous first season at the club.
After signing in a £36million move from Roma in the summer, Salah has managed 30 goals in 36 appearances, becoming one of Klopp’s main men and a favourite among the fans.
Today the Reds manager was asked if Salah has the best left foot in football, as his return this season could certainly make a case for that.
But Klopp rightly brought up Lionel Messi when giving his answer, before going on to say he doesn’t really care what Salah uses as long as the ball ends up in the goal:

We have to agree with Klopp today – Messi reminded us all in midweek that he’s still the best player on the planet and you’d be hard pushed to find a more lethal left foot in the game.
As for Salah, if he keeps scoring at this rate then it won’t be long until he’s mentioned with a move to clubs like Barcelona.
