Arsenal legend Robert Pires was asked to pick between Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp this week… but he jokingly chose himself instead.

The World Cup winner sat down with online betting company bwin, to makes some difficult choices between some world class football players.

First of the bat, Pires was asked to pick between ex-Manchester United captain Roy Keane and his former Arsenal and France team-mate Patrick Vieira.

Vieira, of course, came out as the clear winner in that one.

It was slightly more difficult for Pires to pick between two excellent Arsenal defenders in Tony Adams or Sol Campbell… although he eventually went for Adams.

But the highlight of Pires’ interview has to be his answer to the debate every Arsenal fan has had at one stage, who was better, Henry or Bergkamp?

Pires has no hesitation in joking that he would pick himself… before adding he could never separate the Frenchman and the Dutchman:

Pires is currently a first-team coach at Arsenal, with new signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang confirming he was slightly star-struck to meet the ex-midfielder during his first training session.
