Michy Batshuayi has got his loan-spell at Borussia Dortmund off to a fantastic start this evening, with a debut goal against FC Koln.
Batshuayi left Stamford Bridge on deadline-day, with Antonio Conte bringing in Olivier Giroud from Arsenal as cover for Alvaro Morata.
It was a deal that made a lot of sense for the Belgian international, as he struggled to make much of an impact for the Blues this season and Dortmund were desperate for a front-man to replace Arsenal-bound Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
And the 24-year-old hasn’t wasted any time in endearing himself to the BVB faithful with this goal against bottom of the Bundesliga FC Koln:

Batshuayi will be looking to get enough game-time in Germany to warrant selection in Belgium’s World Cup squad, with Romelu Lukaku and Christian Benteke also knocking on the door.
If he keeps scoring at this rate though, we can’t see any way that Roberto Martinez would dare leave him out!
