Brendan Rodgers looked relaxed as he faced questions yesterday ahead of Celtic‘s Europa League last-32 second leg clash with Zenit.
The Hoops manager and his squad arrived in Russia yesterday with their 1-0 lead from last week’s first leg and they’ll be hoping for a positive result tonight to advance to the last-16.
After training away from the cameras in a closed session, Rodgers faced the media for his usual pre-game press conference.
And he covered a number of things, including his thoughts on the Zenit team, how Celtic can improve and why his team had that closed session.
You can watch the full press conference here:
Callum McGregor’s brilliant volley is the only goal of the tie so far, but you’d expect more to come in what should be an entertaining second leg.
And if Celtic manage to come away with a draw or a win, they’ll go into the draw for the next round of the Europa League tomorrow.
