Video: Watch Liam Henderson Score His First Goal For Italian Side Bari

Liam Henderson‘s spell in Italian football seems to be going swimmingly well at the moment, after the former Celtic youngster scored his first goal for the club yesterday.

The 21-year-old midfielder moved to the Serie B club back in January after a successful trial, after he failed to break into Brendan Rodgers’ starting XI, and he hasn’t looked back since.

Henderson has played in five matches since moving to the Italian club and he opened his goal account when he found the net via a delicious effort just two minutes into their game against Ternana yesterday afternoon.

But Henderson wasn’t done there, and it wasn’t too long before he was terrorising his opponents once more, going on to provide the assist for what turned out to be the winning goal:

Not too bad, eh? Personally, we’re delighted to see a young Scottish player prospering on the continent, and who knows, perhaps he might catch the eye of a certain Mr. McLeish!
