Alexis Sanchez is Starting to Take A Lot of Stick From Manchester United Supporters

Manchester United supporters are starting to aim a lot of criticism in the direction of Alexis Sanchez as the Chilean continues to find his feet under Jose Mourinho.

The former Arsenal man was picked to start the Red Devils’ Champions League last-16 second-leg this evening at Old Trafford against Spanish cracks Sevilla, with fans going into the tie hoping to finally see the best of a player who has undoubtedly proved himself to be world class over the past three seasons.

But the first-half proved to be rather fruitless – for both United and Sanchez.

Mourinho’s side put in a typically pragmatic performance in-front of their frustrated fans, and Sanchez failed to really find any space to provide the creative spark we all know he possesses.

A mere glance at social media shows that Sanchez’s struggle for form is definitely being noticed by onlookers watching at home:

Of course, he needs time to bed into his new surroundings, but are fans right to get on his back?

What do you think?
